About Scott Vogel

Scott Vogel is a California native who has always loved art. He began drawing at age 5 and was later encouraged by friends and classmates, who would “commission” him to forge the ‘Nike’ logo onto their cheap tennis shoes or "tattoo" Iron Maiden's mascot, ‘Eddie,’ onto their arms with a ball-point pen.

After high school, Scott abandoned drawing for a while as he focused on other artistic pursuits, such as acting and writing, but before long, he picked up his pens and pencils again to keep the skill alive. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Scott discovered a great niche for his drawing via storyboard art in the entertainment business. He did this for a number of years for such Hollywood notables as Ben Affleck and Faye Dunaway as well as ‘The Bernie Mac Show.’

In the years since, Scott’s taken up painting and sculpting, alongside his ongoing desire to tell stories and make movies. His art is now hanging in homes and can also be glimpsed on the walls in episodes of his web-show ‘It’s Always Smoggy In L.A.’, or his award-winning short "All Of It Happened On A Thursday", staring Scott Colomby and Sally Kirkland.
